Well, earlier this summer, we lost power in two outlets in the living room and the flood lights outside. Couldn't figure it out. Chalked it up to crappy wiring in this old house and figure we'd replace it all this spring...

Well tonight, I hear scamper scamper scamper behind my computer desk. I have a mouse or a squirrel or something in my wall. How do I get it out?!?! I guess it chewed my effin wires!

Traps...

Preferably outside.

DON'T use poison... then they just die in your wall and STINK!

Get some good traps.

You title totally sounds like a bad joke! I opened this up to get the punchline!

for listen to see where it is. Then get a mallet and smack the wall as hard as you can. luckily you should have killed it or gave it a heart attack.

seriously though. I use hav a hearts. Put it outside. Try to find a hole on the side of your house where they might be coming from.

Yeah, but then they go back into the wall, die, and decompose in a place that you can't get to. Decomposition is NOT a pleasant odor! You don't want it inside your house!

Can you get a cat in the wall?

I have no idea. If you figure it out please let me know. I have one apparently making a nest in in my bedroom wall that's driving me crazy. It gets worse at night and I'm forever jumping up out of bed to beat on the walls. Ugg. I hate it!

I hate that poison stuff because they can stink, and when they die, guess what comes out. Good old maggots.

I used poison bait one year that something was eating plants in my coldframe. I ended up with a smelly dead squirrel somewhere in my crawlspace, then there were 10,000,000 flies. It was *horrible*.

We use a rat zapper in the house now and bait them with dog food or people food or whatever...
