How do you catch a rooster safely?

We have a rooster going to a new home tomorrow . He's aggressive, and tries to attack us when we get close to him or the hens (he's big too). How do we catch him without hurting him or ourselves?

Catch him at night when he’s sleeping on the roost.
Wear gloves if you’re afraid of him pecking at you.

Wait till he Roosts at night.
Go out with a Dim light.
Spot where he's roosting
Take , Make sure you get his Both feet at
once then put under your arm against
your side to keep him from winging you.
Now if there in a tree well that's a kettle
of fish cant help with:-}}~

Take a crate and lightweight blanket or big beach towel out to the roost tonight.
Drape it over him like a parachute, grab feet, put in crate.
Don’t second guess it hesitate.
