How do you clean the ecoglow?

My chicks are on room temp now, and they were roosting on top of the ecoglow, so it's filthy, and I need to clean it up for the chicks coming out of the incubator soon.

Do I just use warm water and a rag, or can I spray a little bit of Lysol on it to disinfect it?

I took the legs of my heat plate, soaked them in poultry disinfectant. Wiped the cord and the top of the plate down with a poultry disinfectant. I used Virkon S and regular anti bac wipes.
