How do you connect 1/4" hardware cloth together?

Can mice and rats squeeze their way inside 1/4" or 1/2" hardware cloth?
No but you must make sure there are no gaps in the hardware cloth for them to squeeze through.
1/4" is NOT good for flooring.

I use zip ties to attach hardware cloth to rabbit cages and it works perfectly.

But, you will have to do small 3 -4 foot sections at a time because the wire will want to get twisted the more times you weave it.
It really helps to do the sewing with two people if you can't easily reach both sides. Say, if you've already attached the hardware cloth to the wall of the run.

No you don't, quit lying

I used to have 1/2" hardware cloth that I could connect together with J clips, but if I want to use 1/4" hardware cloth how would I connect them together? What tools would I need?
What would you be using 1/4" hardware cloth for? 1/4" hardware cloth is a thinner gauge and can break more easily than 1/2".

Can’t some weasels also get through 1/2”? I have also seen that the smallest weasel can fit through 1/4” gaps
