Here is what I use, and we have a good number of dogs, all coming and going in the house and backyard.
Part of this is expensive to start (but probably not any more so that what you have purchased already)
I have found all forms of the Frontline, and even Capstar to be becoming ever more ineffective, as have other fellow dog breeders.
I have had not one flea since using this system-
Spray the entire yard and area with the products 'ARcher' and 'Conquer' using your typical yard sprayer. Get any and all spots, cracks, everywhere. Keep the kids and dogs off the yard for listed lenght of time.
You can find these sometimes in your TSC store or you may have to order online. I believe they might also come in other names, make sure you have the same ingredients.
These are pest killing chemicals, but so are all the things being put directly on the dogs.
At the same time, (same day is best) make a Happy Jack flea dip. One bottle here does two different dipping applications. Make sure to put as much of the dog under the dip as possible (for several minutes if possible) and then sponge gently the ears/face, underjaw.
(Make sure you do not get into the ears, eyes, nose, ect.) This will kill any fleas on the dog.
Check the bottle, but if you have an infestation, redip according to bottle direction. You will not need to spray your yard again for 6 months.

If you have the pests in the house, you would need to bomb the house on the same day and then prob. rebomb (not sure, we have never had them in the house here).
