how do you date your eggs?

The pencil idea is great, but how long are eggs generally good for? One week? two? I would hate for someone to come back and say I sold them some rotten eggs

Movies are usually a hit as long as it isn't anything about Humpty Dumpty.

They don't dance well but do like music.

And have them back in the nest box about sun down so their parent doesn't miss them.
