I figure I would start this thread in hopes of finding new or better ways to deal with stress and possibly help others find better ways too.

When everything just seems to be going wrong, you are at your witts end and feel like you are going to explode, or perhaps already have exploded, what do you do to calm down or keep calm?

I tell everyone I need peach and quite and go read a book, or get on BYC or play farm town. A bath is good too. Sit back and make a list of priorities too. Laying it all out will help you get a better grasp on it all.

Do we have hubby and kids involved? Just had to ask. I have 5 kids aged 21 to 6 years old. 3 girls and 2 boys. I work two jobs never a day off, ok i should say 3 jobs, because when I'm not driving school bus I am driving for a handicapped school. and on top of that i drive a amish group fishing and whatever they need. There is never anytime for anything. The stress is so bad some days I say enough and take time for myself. They say their is nothing wrong with that but I still feel bad doing it. Because I feel I am being selfiss.

It's hard, but I usually watch a movie, Chevy Chase, John Candy or Chris Farley usually takes the blues and stress away for me. I also love to read, so hope in the tub and soak and read for awhile . . .I love America's funniest video's, I use to call that show my shrink. I would watch it every Sunday night and laugh hysterically and be ready to face the week. . .crazy I know, but luckily I am an optimist and the glass is always half full!!! Good luck, things always get better!!!

I usually go out and spend time with my sebastopols ,I just like to sit and watch them in their pool or just sit with them it does a body good to enjoy beautiful things and fresh air...
