How Do You Deal with Stress?

I used to come home and care for the chickens. NOW with the HEAT, THAT IS STRESS TOO!

I can't go hiking... my other favorite past time... it's too Darned HOT!.

Wish I could go to sleep, this is getting ridiculous.

Ive found the cure:
I just got home after running out of petrol in the dark in a strange town. A few nips of whisky and a smoke!!!

For problem stress:
1. Run: getting away from distractions and work out my issues on the road.
2. Target practice: I know very "redneck" of me, but there is such a release when you hit the target dead center... and long distance!
3. Cry & Snuggle: grab my pup, lay on the floor and let it out. He can't stand it and gives me tons of puppy kisses until I start to laugh! Best counceler ever!

Exaustion:
1. Bath: Very warm, bubbles, slow music with low lights and candles.
2. See 3 from above.

I get in the Jaccuzzi with my two favorite men: Ben and Jerry!
And that's only when Ernest and Julio are out of town.

HHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Seriously though:

I get pen and paper, go outside and sit down in the shade and start making a list of what I am thankful for. No item is too small or insignificant. By the time I get to the bottom of the page I have a whole new perspective. Then I pray that God will handle the current problem without my help or interference. The last part is the hardest, but the most important. I have to TRUST HIM TO HANDLE IT!

Then, I get up and go do something enjoyable (preferably mindless and effortless). I refuse to obsess about tomorrow. I concentrate on just doing the next RIGHT thing.

You know life wouldn't be so hard if we didn't expect it to be so easy.

Be blessed.

I do my chores.. Do things that keep me on my toes. Watching movies

I listen to My serius satelite radio. Usually the Octane Station. I turn it up till its loud and blareing. Rock music calms me down. I am in my room with the door shut. And It almost feels like my own little private zen garden. Its relaxing
