If they made it to the end but didn't hatch I dig a hole and bury them under our tree, clears go in the trash, blood rings in the trash.
Smelly ones go in the trash because last thing you want is it exploding on you before you dig a hole.

I had two Quail eggs that didn't make it to hatch time and were left in the 'Bator a little too long.....

I touched one and........................................................................POP! I was not impressed. It was also the first time I ever had one pop.

Unless you have farm boys, that think it is funnier than you know what to huck them at each other!

Eww... that is vile.

@Barred Babies: that sounds somewhat unsavory.

I usually just throw them (very respectfully) at a boulder in the cornfield. Unless I have an impressive cache of bad eggs, in which case I dig them a long grave, bury them, and then chop through the dirt with the shovel blade until they're all cracked. Kind of like making a large batch of brownies...

Toss em in the compost pile. The 'toss' part is important, to make sure they break open. Otherwise 3 months later you grab the pitchfork to flip the compost pile and just as you start the flip..........it sounds like a bomb goes off!
