Eggs that never started are bagged and put in the trash. Those that started are buried. I use post hole diggers to go deep, after I open each egg and check when it died and try to figure out why. We have lots of garden space so there is plenty of space to dig. I usually go deep enough to have 12-18 inches of dirt on top of the eggs. After all these years of hatching I have gotten very good at using those diggers and can go deep in no time.
