I wanted to create a system to that would provide for a few days before being refilled. Very limited space in run as well.I use bowls. Haven't had an issue yet.

The kind that totally cover the end of pipe?I'll have to get the other type of caps.
Right?! Thank you for everyone's feedback We'll get it straightened out! Even when you think you know it all your research enough, there's always something to learn and it's never enough! The kind that totally cover the end of pipe?
Not sure those will fit over the threaded fitting that I assume is glued to pipe.
Yes, blowing rain could be an issue.
As could rain running down pipe into eating end of feeder(can't see that part).
Those tiny coops are very difficult to outfit easily for function.
I know this sounds super stupid but do you mind showing me exactly what you mean and you're set up? It seems like no matter what I do they're spilling food everywhere!I use bowls. Haven't had an issue yet.
I must have not spent enough time as a child playing with constructive play things. You should have seen me standing in the aisles picking up things for these feeders. Do you know how many times I took pipe of the same size and tried to connect them... I have no experience with PVC piping or any thing you might find in Lowe's or home Depot aside from the garden ing sectionThe kind that totally cover the end of pipe?

I use the small rubber feed bowls for horses. I have a partially (hopefully soon to be fully) covered run. My run is 10.5 x 20, my house is 5 x 8. Feed stays in the house, water in the run. Right now I have zero issue with spillage. Back when I did, I'd put one large river rock in the center of each dish. I would then pour feed around it. Switching to pellets has also helped with less waste.I know this sounds super stupid but do you mind showing me exactly what you mean and you're set up?
