I was just wondering how you get good pictures of your eggs while candling? I have a google classroom set up for the students in my classroom. And I plan on posting Pictures on Friday of the eggs being candled and I was just wondering on how you get good pictures. I have the Samsung S20 ultra phone I will be taking pictures with. I haven't had much of a chance to play with it to figure out the best settings.
Suggestions. I want the kids to be able to see inside the eggs. I also would like to do a short video for them so they can see the movement inside the egg.

Ideas????
Well, I do mine in a dark room with my phone flash light and have my dad or friend take the pics. Mine turn out decent, but I don't know how high of quality ones you want. I can get the best pics with light eggs. Maybe @Fur-N-Fowl can help? She gets some amazing pics. I don't know if she's ever done candling pics tho.

@MGG thankyou for the mention! 🙂

As for taking candling photos, try and get the room as dark as possible, and the brightness possible torch you have.

Usually when you put a torch up to the egg, light can still escape around the edges so cover where the edges where the torch touches the egg with your fingers so the light doesn’t go anywhere else but into the egg.

Ive never used the phone you have so all have different settings. However, just have your phone on the normal camera, turn off the flash. To get the phone to focus on the egg, tap on the screen (on the egg) and it sound focus for you. Then take your photo.

Sometimes people change their candling photos to black and white to see them better but you can just mess around with your phones filters to see what looks best.

Ive never taken a candling video but most likely it won’t be much different 🙂
