I know exactly how everyone one feels. It is a good idea to learn everything u can b4 they arrive. I just try to keep myself busy also.... but Im always on BYC.com or looking at other sites. I look at hatching eggs, look at personal websites from other BYC users. I love how i stay occupied, but Im still thinkn bout chickens!!! Gets me sooooo pumped up bout mine!! LOL!

I have been away from my 3 month old chickens for 2 weeks and it if wasn't for BYC and other chicken sites, I think I would have lost it! Terrible withdrawal but going home to them tomorrow.........YEA!
As for waiting, get some books from your library on chickens or use the web. There is so much to learn out there and I'm sure your mom will be very impressed with how much you know.......might even help with getting the RIR.
