How do you handle unwanted evangelists who knock at your door?

I am aware of that. The time I spend witnessing is not compensated either, it's already been paid for. I want to say more, but probably not a good idea.

I'm ALWAYS polite to them.... i just tell them, thank you, but i'm not interested and i dont believe, and i never will. They are usually VERY very nice and respectful about it.
I could never be rude to them. They arent hurting anyone or anything.... theres NO reason to be rude to them and threaten to call the cops and stuff like that. As long as they respect your wishes and dont keep preaching... which i have NOT really had that problem before at all! They are always very respectful..
Actually, when my grandmother was living here, they used to come and just chat with her.... and they did NOT preach to her(she was catholic)... just talked to her and spent time with her. She loved it, and looked forward to seeing them.
Really nice folks.
I also dont get why people are so bitter towards them...

I had one couple knock one night when a hatch first started. I told them NOT NOW!!! My chicks are hatching. I wound up with 2 JW's in my kitchen oooing and awing and cackling back and forth about chicks. Even irritated as I was at them for knocking, we wound up having fun and they saw something they had never seen. No religion involved. Good times are about accepting someone as they are.

She NEVER said she unleased her dogs on them... Grits would NEVER do that....
She just said that her dogs happend to be in her yard....

The amount of people showing viciousness towards anything Godly is steadily increasing...I am sure they had a good time
