How do you incubate your eggs?

I stick them in the incubator and forget about them until day 25 when I move them to my hatcher. I hatch almost every egg I put in, around 15-50 per week from April until now. My last batch of the year is next week. 99.5 degs and 48% humidity and my hatcher runs 98.5 at 68% humidity. I find guineas to be the eaisest of all my birds.

How do you put them in the incubator and in the hatcher? Like on their side or pointy end down?

I run 35% humidity for incubation and 70% at hatch. 99.5 degrees forced air the whole time. I hatch almost everything I put in. I put them in the turner pointy end down.

What incubator are you using?

It is model 1500, 110volt, 250 watt, 3 amp, G. Q. F. Manufacturing Co., Savannah, GA. It deosn't have a window but has a fan and also still air if one runs out. 3 trays turns atomatic you can turn that off though. Also a themoter on the outside, which reads 99.5 and i have thermoters inside also that say 99.5. And idk if its me or the incubator.

Are you sure you have a male?

Are you sure your eggs are fertile. I believe that is why they were asking if you were sure you had a male.

I just had my first hatch. I tried to keep the humidity at 60% for the first 24 days then I raised is to 80% for the last few days. I got 8 chicks out of 12 eggs
