Miss Lydia nailed that one regarding their size. The cheeks on Marceline in the pond and then her big webs. Then there's the picture of Gunter standing tall with the head tilt. Can you please explain to me why they are so cute. Again, your photos are beyond amazing. Keep entertaining us...They are so adorable but what is funny is when you show a pic of Gunter by herself she looks pretty good size then the next pic is of her and Marceline and boy what a difference. They sound like 2 peas in a pod .I love it.
aha! I do snuggle them quite a bit they resist at first but I always win.Miss Lydia nailed that one regarding their size. The cheeks on Marceline in the pond and then her big webs. that is interesting I'm not too worried about hawks more so raccoons, ugh the smartest little predators, but I'm still trying to b cautious in.building the day run inaccessible to those raptor birdsI think he is. Because those predator birds aren't gonna go near anything they know is bigger than they are. They know the little ducks are vulnerable animals but a larger creature then forget. One of the other BYC members was talking about birds of prey and she said she wasn't gonna let her ducks out to roam free in her yard until they were bigger than a football since the hawks, etc like their prey to be smaller than one.
Heehee. I am glad you win. Because when you are in their presence and they are so cute it's not your fault. I do understand respecting a bird's boundaries and not stressing him/her out. But, geez, they need to stop making it so hard.aha! I do snuggle them quite a bit they resist at first but I always win.thank you I.love taking pictures its fun to look back and see the changes, I will definitely keep updating![]()

@Debs Flock How are your sweeties doing? I am still catching up on here after being offline for almost 3 days. Do you have any funny stories?
Thank you Debs. I hate being off here and miss it when I am.Hi there @Julie Bird ! I noticed you were MIA. Glad to see you today!
Mine are doing great, thanks! Since I'm now worried less about birds of prey, I took the ducks for walks over the weekend. (I'm never more than 4 feet or so away.) Dorie got 2 worms. She was so excited that she couldn't contain her happy sounds, which brought the other 3 running over. They tried to steal it right out of her bill, but she didn't give it up. She's a trooper!

You are welcome. So cool you take them for walks. Love the name Dorie. It is funny she got some worms and chortled about it. I am glad the other waddlers didn't steal it. For the longest time I never knew ducks ate "meat". I just never gave it any thought. My buddy says his eat small frogs, fish, stink bugs, snails and other various bugs. It is kinda cool if you think about it. They are hunters.
