how do you introduce a duckling to a 4 week old duck?

Here is today's progress it's now the sixth day and temperaments have cooled way down Marceline even lets Gunter peck at her without so much as a nip, Gunter follows Marceline around. When Gunter get far and starts peeping Marceline will call to her and Gunter comes running to her!
Marceline even let Gunter come inside her room and drink her water! In the last picture you can see one of.my dogs, Simba, (can you tell we love naming our pets after cartoons haha) he wants nothing to do with them yet haha
They are so pretty and makes me think mother and daughter with Marceline being so much bigger, They have come a long way and to be such good buds already is awesome. Gunter looks so tiny compared to Marceline .

that's exactly how I feel so funny you say that today's pictures actually made me think of when we introduced our Simba to his baby (it was actually really from his loins) here's a college they are big now and the same way we are working with the ducks is how we had to do with the dogs a year or so ago haha Simba doesn't enjoy change but he learns to cope with it

Your pictures have honestly brought tears to my eyes. I am so touched by your sweet Gunter and Marceline pics and what you report about them. So sweet and beyond adorable.

haha I think it's just common for any specie to fight even people do it . Our dogs fight sometimes mainly when foods involved but we are working with them on that. After fighting they will ignore each other for a while one will even go to his house like he's depressed but about an hour later they're playing or cuddling again
You are so right. And the nice thing about animals is they don't hold grudges.

the picture of them standing back to back but where they are not touching is cute. I love Marceline's big webs. You can tell in other photos how much Gunter loves her. They really are so sweet.
