how do you introduce a duckling to a 4 week old duck?

I wish you could see it, Bean will go all pancakeitoons in my lap but she won't tuck her bill into her feathers, so her head will rock this way and that until it goes THUNK right down onto my leg, waking her back up again. It's just too much.
Hoopoose, a pancakeitoons Bean. I would squee til my throat turned raw. How do you stand having a little duck in your lap doing that?

Julie you repeat yourself as much as you want I love to hear it :) you cab come by anytime and cuddle them all up they'd love it and if not We'd make them love it and bribe them with treats ;)
Aww, thank you. Yes, bribe them we would so that the cuddling could happen. I mean, you just can't look at the both of them when they are so cute and soft and not snuggle, pet or kiss them. And I think they know they're cute, too.

It was even cuter today when for the first time she went up to my husband all by herself and climbed up onto his chest as he napped! She did the kickstand, then pancaked and nuzzled her head up under his chin. They stayed that way for over an hour. <3

I'm still having some hiccups with her and Wobbles, though...he hasn't hurt her, she's too quick now, but I'll have days where there's peace and harmony, and the very next Wobs will chase her down four, five, six times in an afternoon! I dunno how you do it Miss Marceline, your two lovelies just get along like apples and cinnamon, mine are getting along like orange juice and toothpaste.

front porch chillin this is where they go when they are trying to tell me.it's almost bed time. Today they came up early hello girls it's still daylight! I am working on getting them to go into their night house at night training them with peas also talking about training I saw the new Jurassic World movie today, and for those who don't know I am a huge dinosaur lover, I now have some inspiration to train them as though they were velociraptors haha time to train for the kill shot only kidding but they do remind me of tiny raptors at times

I still can't get over Marcieloaf! Her head is just a dollop atop a perfect fluffy bun.

I love dinos, too! I think that's part of why I gravitated towards ducks so much. They really are just little compsognathus, aren't they? Since they're one of the oldest modern birds around, I like to think that's precisely what they are! How was the movie, by the way? I've heard good things, despite the trailer looking nine kinds of cheeseball.

Tootsie Roll! Bean pancaking and kickstanding on Hils' chest. She is such an affectionate lil call. I am glad she can get away from Wobs when he harasses her. I guess it's an up and down thing? My male will harass Bit to mate and then other times just chill with her. But it is fun having nature indoors.

Amy I'm not sure why they get along so well I.am happy about it but maybe it's because they are both still young? treats help a lot too. what can't treats do! Aweh little compys haha I love it Julie the compys look like little raptor they were in the second and third Jurassic park a lot, in the second one the little.girl in the beginning is feeding.them her sandwhich. Amy the movie is amazing of coarse there are cheezball moments there always has to be those pause kinda lines haha but I think they did well with the graphics I still love the first Jurassic parks dinosaurs for that time the graphics were far beyond anything made today I would.recommend the new one for everyone it's lovely and kinda sets hints that one.day there may be another made the Asian scientist gets off the island with DNA and they referred that anyone and everyone will be able.to.make dinosaurs for.personal.and military reasons one day... ugh another lifetime of waiting for.my favorite movie saga haha

Nice house do they have lots of good ventilation? very important for their health. Love the pics Marceline thinks the water dish is a tub, which actually it is. I'd have ducks and geese in one if I used something like that I have to use buckets and then I have found a duck or 2 in one. [Not at the same time]
