How do you keep wild birds out of feed???

I have a problem with sparrows getting into my ducks' and goats' feed. I know that wild birds can carry diseases and spread it to livestock. Is there anyway to keep them out of my pets feed? I don't want them getting diseases!!!!

The goats' bowls are tied to the fence and the ducks' feed are in a container in the yard.

Do you have a run for the birds? That's where I had to move my feeders to prevent the local birds from eating it all.
