My husband eats Raisin Brain (Bran) a lot and get bad gas from it. I keep on telling him that cardboard has probably the same effect, and that duck food is probably more nutritious for him.

Katarinad, well now you know. He really could eat duck food and it is nutritious and though bland tastes better than cardboard.

Can you tell, its raining here most of the day and tomorrow.

One Christmas I gave each family some really expensive wild bird food because we all had feeding stations in our yards. I put a "sample" into pretty glass jars with ribbon on them, just because it was Christmas.
We were all sitting around after dinner and presents, coffee/tea being served. My Dad was in his element, watching 3 generations of family and calmly munching on - yes - the birdseed!

We feed our ducks and chickens (and the neighbor's chickens and turkeys) all sorts of fresh foods and such, when my five year old goes out to feed them if its A) bread B) peas C) sun flower kernels she'lll sit on a tree stump and munch on part of the stuff too, its too funny ::Two hand fulls for you....one handful for me...two for you guys to share...One for just me :: its too funny.

Chop up some of those big green banana slugs for texture and extra protein in your pea soup. I'll bet that keeps him and his spoon away

Warn him first, though.
