How do you keep your husband out of the duck food?

OH, what people get into, I am laughing so hard.

Our oldest son also ate the dogs jerky years ago, once.

When our daughter and son were toddlers, they would sit on the back porch eating their bologna sandwiches and would share with the dog. One bit for you, one for me. I caught them doing that all the time. I did finally got them to at least tear off the dogs bite for her....then give it to her.

We used to have those big green banana slugs in Calif when we lived there, but now in texas they are no where to be found. And some people do actually eat those things, YUUUUUUUUUK.
In defense of husbands everywhere, if it's food ... and it's cooked ... it's for eatin'

Not with those banana slugs.

Maybe I could add some canned sardines once in a while, the ducks should like and he doesn't.

You must be related to my husband!

He has eaten special meals I have prepared for our antique kitty on a few occasions.

"Honey, those eggs need some hot sauce, bot otherwise they are really good."

"You mean the ones I cooked up for the cat because she is throwing up again?"

My kids think he is strange too, until my oldest son tried it too.

My Dad was in his element, watching 3 generations of family and calmly munching on - yes - the birdseed!

OMG!!! (wiping the tears away...)

I remembered my dad feeding the animals and tasting a new bag of mix from the Feed Mill, to make sure it was good enough for them. Our cattle, our hogs, Our chicken feed.

Everyone, just thought he liked it.

After this, my kitty better not get sick, but she's young yet. I'm worried about my older dog. If I have to start making him food, I'm going to have double trouble with DH.

To this DH says RIGHT ON but he will take the spit peas without the Banana Slugs or Sardines, definately the sardines. Well, I quess the salty sardines wouldn't have been to good for the duckies anyway.

one of my 3 cats loves to eat the mazuri duck food... the dog eats the cat food, and the ducks every morning expect a handfull of cat food.. They didn't like the dog food though with is good cause its not good for them..
