One of my hens showed up the other day with a severe cut on her neck- to the muscle. I am assuming from the stupid young rooster trying to breed her. I brought her inside, treated the wound and she formed a nice scab, so a few days late i put her back out. Not very long after the scab was off. This evening i checked and it looks like its getting scabed again, but kind of funky looking. how do i know if its getting infected?

Can you post a picture???

She needs to be treated again and then seperated from the others so the sore can heal. The roos nails should be filed down so they are not so sharp.

Colorful goo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that one:lol:

Mypicklebird hit the nail on the head. Gooey head:D
