i was wondering how you measure the humdity? i heard of wet bulb but i dont know what that means or what that is. can you please help me! i had a digital thermometers that tell the temp and the humidty but it doesnt fit once i out the turners in (i have an automatic turner). how do you make a wet buld or measure the humidty. and to add to that how much water do you put in to make the humdity 35%? how many tablespoons or teaspoons do i add? and how many days do i add it? like every other day or everyday? Srry im a newbie. well i am kind of a newbie. i mean i have been hatching for 14 years but i never thought about humidity that much. this time i would like to get a good hatch because i want to hatch as many as possible because i need to pick 3 hens.

35%? Here in MS, that is low humidity. Lol. It depends on your climate. Also they sell hygrometers at pet stores to measure it.

I've never tried Wet bulb, but I do use a digital thermometer/hygrometer, and in the past if it didn't fit with the turner, I just layed it on top of the eggs. Only problem with some of the digital hygrometers, is that they need to be calibrated, I have several of the $6 ones from walmart, I calibrated them and they were off 10% and 12%. There is a thread on here somewhere with calibration instructions.
