How do you Mend a Broken Heart? ***Hello Katie***

Hey Gang! I am at my wits end when it comes to adopting this puppy. The people who will be doing the transportation need to know by tomorrow if it's going to happen but I can't get an answer one way or the other from the people with the puppy.

Could really use some prayers here.

Your story wrings my heart. My parents got rid of my dog when I was in 6th or 7th grade, because she wasn't a good hunter for my father. Dad had his own dog to hunt with and that dog didn't like my dog, so we got rid of my dog. It was very depressing for me.
I'm terrified of the day I lose either of my horses. They're a big part of me and I care more about them than anything.

have you ever thought of being put on a list at the local humane society or rescue? sometimes if you are looking for a specific breed they will put you on those in case they ever have a rescue those people on the list will get called first!

plus, having a dog sent to you without seeing and meeting it first is sometimes not a good idea. my corgi (7 mo at time) came to us untrained when the person said it was, said he liked cats and other dog-chases my poor old kitty (has calmed down since though), and seems to have a few issues that i think he may have been abused/mistreated when there was nothing told to us about it. he has since turned out to be a wonderful addition to our family but had i not known how to train a dog or not known about some of the issues with the breed or him in general, i'm sure my DH would have sent him back to the person he came from!
