Thanks everyone, for the help. The Webster dictionary link worked great. For anyone following this, all the vowels except the last o are short sounds and the emphasis is on the BAS portion.

Phonetically it would look something like:

seh - BAS - sta - pole

I had this problems with D'uccle! I was calling the poor things D'uncles! LOL Here to find out it's pronounced D' Clay! Totally different! Now I have a hard time remember they are clays not uncles!

I know- I was pronouncing D'uccle like "Day Uncle" but then some one told me it was pronounced "do clay". That just doesn't seem right!!

I think you pronouce Muscovy like "musk cove e". Not positive though.
