How do you reset a Forum from read to unread

Is there a way to change a forum from 0 unread posts to all unread posts or a way to keep your place on a long thread without bookmarking? I started reading some long threads on the last page and it is marks the entire thread read. Thank you.

I moused around and I didn't find a way to unmark a thread as read.

This is actually a pretty complex thing (tracking read, unread, sessions, etc.). The simple answer is: unfortunately there's no way to mark something as "unread".
