Handy as the handle on the ""out"" house door

My grandma always said "handy as a pocket in a shirt" now I don't say it a lot, but I think it pretty often!

don't forget "fixin"

fixin = about to, as in "I'm fixin to go to Jimmy's"​
 
I pronounce our like a cross between are and hour I guess. Not really hour, but definitely not are.

My Mom puts an "r" in words that don't contain one. So instead of washing the clothes, she warshes them. We didn't live near Washington D.C., but near Warshington D.C.. I've never known where that "r" comes from, no one else in the family says it that way.
