Ok now you have me fascinated...... so is the "gravy" a bread sauce with bits of sausage in.... and can I have the recipe for those "breakfast Bisquits"

Yes, that gravy is made with white flour and sausage drippings... mmmm, mmmmm good! Nothing like a homemade, from scratch, biscuit either. There is no actual recipe for those things... our grandmas just put some flour, lard, buttermilk in a bowl and before long out came the best tasting piece of bread known to man.

Honestly, I don't make biscuits or I'd weigh 600 pounds, but someone on here can probably give you a good recipe for them.

Biscuits are just shortening an milk mixed in flower to make a play-doe looking thing an then its baked.

Gravy is oil or shortening an flower covering a pan an browned an a tables spoon of salt an pepper then you add milk an heat till it gets thick. Sausage is just sausage.

I live in California, so I say dog & log so they rhyme, it's like a yankee accent as you all probably think about it, but with a valley girl lilt at the end and in the last syllable is spoken in a perky way. (Think of the classic valley girl: Oh-MY-Gaw-ED!) But my best friend who I met when I lived in KY briefly is from wayyy deep in a Holler in the Appalachians, so he's says fahr, dawg, thar, etc. When we talk on the phone we mostly just accuse one another of having the worst accent. (It kind of goes like this: a lot of "what? or in his case whut? & "spell please", etc) We have lot of fun just talking. But he doesn't really use the terms y'all or all'yall.
