How Do You Say The Word, Our

Yes, that gravy is made with white flour and sausage drippings... mmmm, mmmmm good! Nothing like a homemade, from scratch, biscuit either. There is no actual recipe for those things... our grandmas just put some flour, lard, buttermilk in a bowl and before long out came the best tasting piece of bread known to man.

Honestly, I don't make biscuits or I'd weigh 600 pounds, but someone on here can probably give you a good recipe for them.

I am going to have a go at these....

Well, you need a good recipe so I found a true Southern cook's recipe for you... Paula Deen's biscuits and Sawmill gravy (Make sure you have some real butter on hand whenever you are making a PD recipe!)

I also say both, depending on how fast Im talking and who Im with. When I talk fast, I have an accent. I also cant say dog, door or ice cream "normal". Among other words of course, but those are a few off the top of my head. I was born and raised in the same town, and still live here in the middle of the Central Valley in California. People I grew up with told me I have a funky accent, so I dont know what is going on!

I say Dawwg, Doe-ur and well, when I say ice cream lets just say it sounds like Im talking about cream for your behind.

Have you ever heard Paula Deen talk? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W3YyZLzPnQ
She's
from Georgia, and her southern accent is very nasal! Love to hear her, she almost makes me sound like a Yankee!
