Now I am curious, how do you say, Ginger? I bet that your accent is beautiful.

We named our dog Ginger, however we spell it the way I say it, so her name is Ginja.

A word I hated as a kid but still use is Yonner. I remember as a kid asking my grandmother where something was an she would say in yonner. I would walk away thinking, yea one less room to look. Where in the heck is Yonner. In Yonner means it could be any other room than the one we are in now.

Now I use it all the time too.

I leave the g off also. I also homeschool and, just like one of the posters, tried very hard to say words in the 'correct' manner when teaching my children phonics.
