How do you ship hatching eggs in the cold weather?

I see that some of you are in the south where either the starting address or destination would be above freezing temps (generally).
That should be somewhat of an advantage.
I am planning to ship to 1. northeast PA and 2. ALASKA.... from freezing weather here in NE ohio. Now maybe this is a bad idea altogether, but I might want to give it a try.
Some very creative and doable suggestions. I would not mind experimenting some but shipping is so expensive and I really want my buyers to be happy in every way.

.... a good idea is seldom born of its own, but a result of improvement on many other ideas.....

That is a REALLY nice wrapping job! I would have worried about the eggs "breathing" but if this works well for you, then I think I'll try it. That is a lot of insulation!
