How do you stop young ducks from eating each others feathers?

This happened to me and it was due to having too many ducks in too small of a space. In my case, I only had three ducks, but a dog crate just wasn't adequate to hold them (pen and house took longer than expected).

The weird thing was that it was only the two drakes that picked on each other. The hen didn't pick on anyone else, nor did she lose a single feather.

Good luck, I hope you can get this sorted out. It's frustrating when your beautiful, spoiled ducks look all patchy, mangy, and neglected!

Similar problem with 16 muscovy ducklings...but it's the chickens that are picking out their feathers....I have been separating them during the day and only the 16 ducklings are in the coop....I haven't noticed them picking on each other....pretty sure the damage is being done by the chickens...anyone have a homemade recipe for a spray or rub?
