How do you store maple syrup?

You can if you leave plenty of space. Maple syrup doesn't expand as much as water since most of the water is boiled out. I've frozen corn and other veggies in wide mouth jars and as long as I leave room, there are no problems. Currently, I have corn, juice, green beans, maple syrup and tomato puree in jars in my freezer

I don’t use plastic for anything that touches my food. I’ve been putting veggies in mason jars in the freezer for years and it works great and doesn’t leach any chemicals into my food or make plastic waste that’s killing birds and turtles and all sorts of God’s creatures. My jars aren’t sterile for veggies. Do you sterilize them for syrup?
