How do you store your eggs while accumulating for incubation?

our house stays at 70 F I just put them on my dresser and leave them alone for 6-8 hours then pitch them in. Never ever had a problem

Eggs I collect from my own birds I collect for about 3-4 days and then put them in...I never turn them while they sit and wait to go in the incubator as it's been prooven you don't need to turn coturnix eggs before incubating...and again i don't turn them and never had any problems

I ofcourse turn them 2-3 times a day once incubating

I actually just put them in cartons on the dresser in the spare bedroom. That bedroom is also the 'hatchery', so the temp in there is usually about 78*. I do turn them everyday though, and haven't had any problems with storing them like this.

I read last night in my new book, Raising Chickens for Dummies, that a good place to store eggs before incubating is the vegetable drawer in the bottom of the refrigerator. Who'd've thunk. That's where I'm storing mine from now on.

I've stored chicken eggs in the top part of my fridge before and kept them there for a month and still hatched out a chick so yep that's understandable

i store my eggs in a egg crate in a cool dark spot in the house. The egg crate can hold up to 30 eggs which is enough for me.

I Store Them At Room Temp In The House--- Around 68-72 In An Autoturner--- They're Good For About 2 Weeks, But The Longer They Sit The Lower Your Hatch Rate
