If I’m considering incubation, they immediately go into a carton pointy side down. My duck eggs are not fertile so they just go into a bucket in the fridge and typically get eaten within a week or 2. I was storing quail eggs in buckets in the fridge but my rotation got messed up and I ended up throwing out over 100 eggs at the end of season last year so I’m going to be better with my storage protocols this year!!! :D

See! FIFO people. First in, First out. It'll get you every time. lol
For me I think it's sort of like being a western rider. Doesn't matter what it is (horse, atv, bike, etc) I mount from the left side every time.

Eggs just go pointy side down. 🤷‍♀️
I had no idea where you were going with this and I thought you were going to talk about Russian Rouletting some eggs to eat because you didn't know the age like how Western riders just ride with no style...

So glad you just meant that you get on from the same side.

Lol no. 🤣

I just meant that even if they're not being hatched or shipped for hatching, they still go pointy side down.
