I mix my own feed by buying a variety of products. I mix and store everything in the same container. I use a large black plastic trash can with a tight fitting lid.

Closest mill to me is 100 miles away and the smallest amount I can purchase is one ton. Its a really good deal. But DANG Where to put two thousand pounds of feed.
The best a person could do is go in as a co-op Split a basic order x amount of ways then do additions yourself.
When they dish this stuff up it comes in the form of a Direct dump into your pickup. So dividing it is an adventure.

Unless the walls in the shed are made of plastic, tin, or covered in tile.... dont assume hanging will protect the treats. Mice are really good jumpers as well. Plastic grocery bags would make a good purchase for a landing.the main feeds are in metal trash cans and our treats we hang plastic grocery bags on a nail in the shed so the rodents cant ever get to them![]()
