I normally don't post here, since I keep pet quail, but one of my quail has died from a crow or some black bird that pecked the skin on his head off, and since I do not want to waste him(he's a roo) I am trying to process him for meat. How exactly do you take the guts out, when there is no opening in the body? do you cut a hole in the bird?
