How do you tell a Drake from a Duck?

I have new Pekins that about 3-4 months and was wondering how you tell early on who is male and female?

My Khakis have different colored feet and quakes.

Do Pekins have different quakes too? 2 have the Quake and 2 have the Whuck.

Yep. You can voice sex the Pekins the same way with your Khaki's.

The Pekin Males also have the drakes curl.

A hen will have a much LOUDER and BRASSY quack while the male will be a more mumble quack.
And there is the tail tale curly drake feather on their tail.

Well they are not old enough to have the curly Q's yet. Wasn't sure if Pekins would have any more signs. Pretty sure I sexed em correct tho with the quakes, thanks to my experience with my Khakis. Thanks guys!

My drakes feather curled at two and a half months.

Tail feathers should be curled by 4 months. Pick them up if they quack they are girls if they are raspy sounding they are boys.

Thanks Mama duck. Yeah no curls yet but def. a voice difference, and I re counted. They are almost 3 months. My Khakis didn't curl till 4 months.
