how do you tell between salmon marans and welsummer?

i bought a pair that are supposed to be welsummer but the pullet is lighter colored than my 1 year old. they look good but i can't tell the difference. is there something distinct i can look for other than colors?

the welsummers are a light brown color and have a distinct dark brownish color

i got them as started chicks. i will try to post a picture later. i have had trouble resizing or something. the pullet looks like the 1 yr old hen but lighter colored. similar color pattern. do the marans chicks look like the wellies with the striped heads?

the roo has a mostly black chest and a single comb. the pullet is lighter and thin with a less distinct patternon her feathers. maybe part penedesenca? mostly a light tan/salmon color breast.
