The first two that are hatched are completely distinguishable, but once i get more, is there a method i can use to tell them apart. Kinda like the way people put colored collars on litters of puppies & such. Id like to be able to tell the breeds apart.

It would also be good to be able to sex them.

Sorry I don't have answers I'm only a learner. :)

I put leg bands on them to tell them apart there are different colors and sizes. So as they get bigger you can change the leg band. Or there are these things called toe punches that you use to put a hole in the webbing of their foot. Those are the methods I use

Not everyone knows what toepunching is, but yes, it is the best way to know who is who.
Toepunching is pretty self explanatory I'd say. But "how am i going to tell the breeds apart?" wasn't at the top of my list in the planning process 🤣 so now they're hatching and im unprepared. Ill have to try to come up with something creative from the dollar store i guess, as i can't make it to tractor supply today. I need to pick up marbles anyways.

I meant how to do it, but I didn't word it correctly.

I think i found my method! It seems perfect. Lots of color options, lightweight, not bulky, gentle on legs, easy to remove, etc. Ill keep an eye on them and change them if they get dirty or wet.
