How do you tell your chickens apart???

Of all my chickens at present, there are only two that I can't tell apart at present... two buff brahmas. Give me some time. I've already picked out their names. Aunt Bee & Mrs. Doubtfire

All of mine are a different breed....So no problem.

Seriously though...I do have 3 dominiques that hatched together and are now big girls...but all three have different personalities, different comb sizes (however slight) and, of course, different colored leg bands

LOL I have 4 buff Orpingtons and I can only tell two of them apart. One has a MUCH paler/smaller comb than the other three and of the three with darker combs one of them doesn't have toenails on her middle toes! I thought that was hilarious when I noticed it!

I also have 2 golden comets. They are marked slightly differently, but I can't really remember "who's who" in order to name them. The one golden sebright is easy, but the two silver sebrights are both called "paloma" (dove in Spanish) because my father-in-law (who gave us the chickens) thought they look like doves. And the rooster "Jasper" is also a one-of-a-kind here.
