How do you train your dog around free range chickens?

We are new to chickens and are wondering how to train our untethered dog to ignore our free range chickens. Are there any tried and true training techniques you know of? Thanks for your help!!!!!!

I wouldn't. I believe dogs and chickens should never meet, based on all the NEW members reporting chicken massacres by their own dogs. You never hear of a chicken killing a dog, but dogs are among their top predators (owners dog and neighbor dogs running loose).
