how do you upload photos?

I know the feeling....I had trouble with my page too. I could copy but to paste I had to use "control,V" to paste. But when I try to stick a photo in a topic post the only thing I get is a link. I've read the thread a dozen times and tried several and it doesn't matter. (I haven't tried resizing to see if that helps yet...)

brid, have you tried previewing the post? I thought the same about post, but did a preview and it worked just fine...

birdicus7, do you have a link to an example? Read the instructions here and then give it a try and we can see what you may have done wrong.

Hi ...not sure if I am in the right spot...

I notice some users have quite large pics in thier post...how do they achieve this? I am uber new to forum life and BYC...but I am keen to get involved....

I have tried to post some pics...but they are tiny...sad

I know from my own browsing habits...larger pics are always more interesting than tiny ones...

Lady Marmalades,

When you upload a pix, resize it to the largest size option. It's 640 X 480 I think. Looks like you already know to copy and paste the img code, not the url code.
