How do you use egg shells?

I toss them out the kitchen window and the chickens gobble them up in seconds. Zero crushing is needed
Yes I don't grind mine either, they seem to break it apart themselves by grabbing the eggshell in their beaks and hitting it on the ground to break it apart:D Smart things❤️
 
My chickens like crushed egg shells better than any other form of calcium. I have oyster shell out too, but that's not their preference.
We've tried the usual oyster shells and then flaked oyster shells. Barely see them peck at it. The second I put in crushed egg shells? Immediate fan favorite!
