Hi all duckies, can anyone show me how to vent sex a duckling? is there a knack to this?
They are 14 days old today and no curly tails yet.
    They are white bantam mallards!
If not vent sexing, do they sound different at this age?
    Thanks for any help.
I have to go to work for a few hours now so ill sign off and check in this afternoon!!!

You won't be able to tell sex by voice for some weeks yet. The drake feather comes up at sexual maturity.
Vent sexing is not easy and takes an expert touch. I have never done it, though I have seen it done. It is really easy to injure or kill a duckling if you have not been trained.

I'm too afraid to try it, though I know how it is done. I prefer to wait and be surprised!
