Hi.

Apple Cider Vinegar would be a good idea...
...but do think to NOT use metal waterer, or you could kill your ducks...!

(For the record : I would NOT use Apple Cider Vinegar for more than 24-36 hours.)

You could also mix some Thyme with their food : it won't hurt them.

What do you use as duck bedding?

And do your ducks have access to a bigger space...? With a lot more of sunlight and grass than they seem to have with your pictures?
Hi! I use elevated plastic waterers, and I was not aware of the dangers associated with using metal, so thank you!

I use smoke-dried leaves for their bedding -- and I clean their pen out entirely once a week. Additionally, their pond is drained and refilled once every 2 days.

And yes! My ducks have constant access to 1/3 acre of grassland that cannot be seen in the pictures. This area includes an overgrown garden, and a line of pine trees (you can probably see the trees in the background). Also, they are all harness trained and go for daily walks where we have over 40 acres of grassland and forest.

I did have concerns though, about a possible fungal infection? I know with using dried leaves especially, they retain moisture particularly well. Thanks!
