How do YOU winterize your coop?

WINTERIZING QUAIL HUTCH

Waterers
· Get 5 aquarium heaters

· Attach them inside the 5 waterers

· Plug them into power strip

· Attach power strip to extension cord

· Plug it into the wall in the barn

Warmth
· Get straw and put it in the back corner

· Give lots of goodies

· Mix dustbath everyday

· Possible tarp to block wind

Lights
· Get plug in timer for light

· Plug in light bulb to the timer by extension cord/power strip/bulb adapter setup

· Set the timer for appropriate hours to repeat each day


Attach power strip to secure location on or near hutch. Power strip must have at least 6 outlets (5 water heaters, 1 bulb/timer)
