I was reading a post earlier about quail, and that they need to be dewormed.

So of course that got me thinkin'...

So heres my questions...

What do you worm them (all birds: chickens, quail, ducks, pheasants) with?

How Much?

How often?

HOW?!

I guess I never really thought about it, but have no idea how to worm a bird...

I have chickens, ducks, pheasants, guineas, and quail, and would like to get peafowl in the spring.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Jason,

It's very easy. The name brand isn't coming to me right now, but go to TSC and pick up a bottle of "worming medication" and follow the directions. You just put it in their water for 24 hours then dump it out and repeat one month later. After the initial two months, go to an every 6 month routine.

That's all there is to it.

Good luck,
Jerry

Piperazine Is The Med. And Just Like The Other Post Says Do It And Then Repeat In 1 Month Then Some Do Every 3 Mos, Some Do Every 6 Mos And Even Others Once A Year...
