They show me the love after they are all fed full, and i go into the run to check suspected ill birds, and I put my hand on one, and she will squat and let me do whatever i want with her, I go to my knees and check her over and I have three more jumping on me fighting for whose next I guess. This one hen jumped on my head once and when I stood up she kept her ground and stayed like a hamster on a ball and I walked around the run for a good 10 minutes with this chicken on my head. I wear a hat now when I go in and this chicken will jump on my shoulder or head and let me parade her around, and she tucks her head in her wing on my head or on my shoulder and goes to sleep like I am her roost. But if she is on a nest and I try to feel underneath her, hell hath no fury like a hen scorned, my wrists and arm will come back out pecked to hell. I do prefer the beak before the talons, dang they got sharp toes.
