How does a chick get out of the egg when they’re being sat on?

Dumb question but I see videos of babies getting out of eggs when they’re like sitting in the incubator but like how do they do it when they’re being sat on? Will she move off of them
They can push out just fine under her. Her pressure from sitting on them even can help them get out. Sometimes she stands on her hocks a little bit once they start zipping so they can get out easier.

Hens will raise themselves slightly above the eggs when they start hatching. Generally the hen's breast bone is near the bottom of her nest, and eggs are aligned along her breast and under her wings. They will also hover above the eggs when temperatures get too hot.

Thank you! It’s day 21 today for 3 of the eggs and nothing from them yet. There is a inch long crack or so in the egg. I don’t think it’sa pip
